These terms cover the text messages sent and received through BookedUp on behalf of businesses that use it.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

What the programme is

BookedUp is a customer-care and appointment-booking text service. When you call or text a participating business's phone number, BookedUp replies on their behalf to answer questions, offer available appointment times, and confirm bookings.

How you're opted in

You start the conversation. There is no list to join and no marketing sign-up. You opt in by doing one of these:

Texting the business's published phone number.
Calling the business's published phone number. If nobody is free to answer, you'll receive one text message inviting you to book by text. That message is a direct response to your call.
Giving your mobile number to the business and asking to be texted about your appointment.

We never message people who haven't contacted the business first.

What you'll receive

Replies to your questions about services, prices, hours and availability
Appointment confirmations
A reminder before your appointment
A message if your appointment needs to change

You will never receive marketing or promotional messages from this service.

How often

Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation. A typical booking is 3–6 messages, plus one reminder before the appointment.

Cost

BookedUp does not charge you anything. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any message and you'll get one confirmation, then nothing further from that business through this service. To start again, reply START.

Stopping texts does not cancel an appointment you've already booked — call the business directly for that.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by your device, your plan, and carrier filtering.

Supported carriers

Major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Google Voice.

Privacy

Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
